12 members of the Fomena District Hospital construction team were taken through First Aid and Emergency Preparedness Training on 13th and 14th of July. The aim of the training was to refresh and increase their knowledge and awareness levels in emergency preparedness, basic first aid, methods of assessment and the transmission of illness. The session proved to be a success with a number of new first aiders appointed to support the site’s Health & Safety Officer.
