Hospital Design Concept
With cost effectiveness and 'the patient experience' at the heart of our designs, we have developed a sustainable, flexible, intuitive district hospital concept. These new units are designed to be environmentally friendly, with the lowest possible operating costs, reducing the need for air-conditioning to a minimum, whilst paying particular attention to massively reducing airborne infection rates by increasing the air exchange ratio.

Fred Hsu
DEPUTY CHAIRMAN
Fred Hsu gained an MBA from Imperial College, London and has over 20 years' board level commercial experience as a director of The Property Trust PLC and Pittencrieff Petroleum PLC (both listed on the London Stock Exchange), Belinvest Realty Fund Limited, Firmin & Sons PLC.
He served on the National Council of the CBI; Board and Council of Birmingham Chamber of Commerce and was Founder Chairman of the Clothing & Infrastructure Group (CLING) of ADS. In 2000, he was appointed as Deputy to the Lord Lieutenant in the West Midlands.
Peter Marks Msc
PROGRAMME DIRECTOR
Peter Marks was commissioned as an officer of HM Armed Forces at Royal Military Academy Sandhurst and served for 18 years with the British Army. He has BSc in Civil Engineering and a MSc in Mechanical Engineering and has held senior management and board positions with leading blue chip companies such as Land Rover, Courtaulds Aerospace, GKN Defence, GEC Marconi and BAE Systems, delivering over £1bn of equipment and services to UK and overseas governments.
Louis Oliver
PROCUREMENT AND LOGISTICS DIRECTOR
Louis Oliver trained in accountancy with Grant Thornton. He held the posts of Distribution and Buying Director for the 440-store Oliver Group PLC where he gained extensive international experience and was responsible for a £100m annual budget. He has had extensive procurement and logistics experience supplying Marks & Spencer, Royal Mail, UK and international governments.
Adam Hatfield ACA
FINANCE DIRECTOR
Adam Hatfield is Group Finance Director and trained with PriceWaterhouseCoopers as a Chartered Accountant. He has over 25 years' experience in the financial management, control and direction of large, medium and small businesses. Adam has served as Finance Director of private and publicly quoted companies in the health, IT, media and financial services sectors.
Matt Jordan
CONSTRUCTION DIRECTOR
Matt Jordan is a Chartered Professional, who holds a BSc in Geo-environmental Engineering and an MA in Environmental Law, with over 25 years’ experience working in the infrastructure and environmental field.
Matt has held senior management positions within a number of leading UK Engineering Consultancies delivering a wide range of multi-disciplinary engineering and environmental projects across the UK and Overseas.
Carl Taylor
PURCHASING AND LOGISTICS CONTROLLER
Carl Taylor joins NMSI from Saab Technologies (UK). He graduated from Britannia Royal Naval College Dartmouth before serving 18 years with the Royal Navy, retiring as Commander, Procurement & Logistics.
During his naval career, he worked variously at Navy Command Headquarters, Portsmouth; Navy Command HQ, Bahrain; Defence Science & Technology Laboratory, Farnborough and the US Navy Logistics Support Centre, San Diego, California.
He is a graduate of the Joint Services Command and Staff College and has a Master's Degree from King's College, London.
