UK Pre-Construction Workshop

A two-week Design Workshop too place in London in early November. This marked a critical stage of the Design Phase and involved representatives from the Ghana Design team (Teracon, Isopanels, Impress-Technologies and eSolutions), the UK Design Team and representatives from the Ministry of Health. The team also closely reviewed plans or the Dodowa hospital which is the first to be built.

This collaborative approach to the design of the hospitals ensures a greater element of Ghanaian influence. The local component will be further strengthened after the formal handover of the hospital design package from the UK to the Ghana Design team at the end of December.
