UK Export Finance (ECGD) visited Accra on 28 November. UK government officials – Rebecca Schade, Miles Hitchcock and Helen Russell – visited the NMSI office for a project briefing meeting during which they were introduced to the NMSI Ghana team and received latest updates on the hospital project by directors Peter Marks and Fred Hsu.
Later, the team was welcomed to Dodowa by District Chief Executive The Hon. Emmanuel Lartey, who accompanied the visitors to view the existing Dodowa Hospital and the Dodowa site.
The three environmental and social subject matter experts were able to see progress on site and to meet with local affected and displaced persons, who expressed their satisfaction with the compensation arrangements from the District Assembly.
